With the game out now, can someone please detail how the buy wins option works. Also, how difficult is it to unlock historic teams and can you back out of ranked lobbies?

I'll be looking into it tonight.

But I need to follow my routine hit practice mode with my favorite players and check out their animations/graphics. Play a match or two. Then I'll check out if the buy wins garbage is real.

It IS in there.

But it's 'grayed' out

'Help' gives no explanation

It is either unlocked right now for 2K's reasons or because you can't until you move up a tier, or maybe get a loss first. Still in the clouds about it can't really think of why it'd only work at certain levels.

There's a new video on youtube where someone that's 1-1 has the ability to start buying wins with VC. You can buy one or two wins at a time, not sure what happens after though, if you can continue to buy or not. I'm asumming you probably can.

Historic teams can be used at the upper ranks.

1500 VC for 1 win
2500 VC for 2 wins

Right now you have 2 records. The records for whatever level you're on (think of the levels as seeds in MyTeam) and your real record.

I've played 2 games with the Knicks so my real record is 2-0 but since the Knicks are terrible and in the last tier then every win adds an extra bonus win to my level record. So the record for the level that I'm on right now is (Freshman) 4-0.

Buying wins only helps you advance to the next level by giving you wins and doesn't affect your real record.
