Is the MyGM/MyLeague Social Media News Feed just for LOLs?

I've been trying to make sense of the stuff written in the parenthesis when a player gets injured in the Social Media news feed. It makes me laugh but is it supposed to mean something?

Examples:
"Jimmy Butler (homesick at sleepover party) expects to play against Hornets."

"Kevin Love (can't stop/won't stop listening to She & Him's subtle, sophisticated take on timeless classics) is expected to miss 4-6 weeks"

"Anthony Davis (in the middle of Little Italy riddled some middle men who didn't do diddly) expects to play against Thunder."

I love all of it. I miss ability to talk to GM in MyLEAGUE, it just GREAT feature, some really cool stuff there. 2k team did really good job with it.

It's pretty funny reading those when someone is injured lol. They have so much variety in the game too, I think there was a post that said something about Taye Diggs and another about being lost in space or something. I wonder how many there are lol

Nah, it was funny for like the 1st few times. But I see those 'tweets' so much now, it's just repetitive and annoying
