this option is in the coach setting menu...

do yall use it ? and what does it do in relation to POE and Defensive Settings being manual (vs) auto ?

a previous thread about similar topic was mistitled

I play with it on manual; from what I understand, it has nothing to do with POE. They are separate entities.

It definitely controls matchup settings! When I leave it on I'll check throughout the game and it will usually be changed, even if I put Kawhi on steph for example the AI still may change it.

I am not sure if it changes defensive settings but 100% on matchups and don't think it effects POE at all as it has its own toggle.

Hopefully an OS member or 2K dev can chime if it's tune with defensive settings.

Yeah I have it on manual cuz of what never said above. It changes match ups sometimes on auto and keeps overriding u if u just go in and change the matchup back. I'm not sure it actually does anything else besides change match ups for you

Out of necessity I play with it on auto. I set it to manual in the main menu, but as soon as I start an online game, it gets reset back to auto. And when I change it, the game will show an error...
