Players exclusive to MyTeam. Why?

I've said this before, and I've seen other people say it as well. It's kind of unfair that there are tons of players in the game that can only be used in one mode. A mode that can't be edited to our liking roster-wise.

Now I do occasionally play MyTeam but my main mode of choice is MyLeague. I also enjoy editing and making older teams. With 2K having the license to so many players that aren't actually on a classic team in the game, why only limit their availability to one mode?

I'd love to have all these players. I should be able to use them how I like. I mean I did pay $60 for the game. And with them giving us so much customization this year, this would just take it one more step. I don't think it would be that hard to put a legends free-agent pool in the roster. Or something similar.

I just needed to rant about this and hope someone with some influence sees it. I know I'm not the only one that would be excited for something that doesn't even seem like much to be asking for. What's everyone's thoughts on this?

I felt the same way last year, with Yao and Tracy etc not being able to be used.. It's frustrating, at least we can get a FA pool.. Makes no sense to limit them.

I totally agree. I could see it working like a second CAP tab, where all of these Legends are in a separate tab, so we can clone them to teams like the CAPs.

I wanna play with Jalen Rose, 2K. Give the people what they want.

It's because they want you to spend money on My Team in order to use them.

Everything they do has to make business sense from a microtransaction standpoint now.

It's sad.

Yeah, but it kind of doesn't make sense to me that I get Larry Bird, or Magic, or Shaq, with the game, and use them however I want.. But I have to play MyTeam and possibly spend money just to play with a guy like Darius Miles or Jerry Stackhouse and only be able to use them for the game modes within MyTeam.

If they're going to make us pay to play, shouldn't we be paying extra to play with the big names? Hell, they could release a DLC with all the guys not on classic teams and I'd buy that. I don't think we should have to do that because we already gave them $60, but if that's what it came to then so be it.

So we have to spend 50 dollars every week for TBT and FBF packs. They should at least add players from MyTeam to Team Up. It would be fun to play with Arenas, Brandon Roy, Grant Hill etc in Team Up. Next year there should be a legend player pool in the Roster creator for significant players instead of adding their teams.
