My friend and I had a debate about Perimeter lockdown defender should only triggered when playing onball defense, I think this is a good idea for 2k17, this will force more people to play onball.

Disagree. If the guy is a good defender, then he should be a good defender whether you're controlling him or not.

If a CPU player with lockdown defender is taking away one of your scoring options, it's up to you to adjust and find another option.

It certainly doesn't work in gauntlet mode Let a CPU lockdown defender, guard a serviceable 3pt shooter, that shot is going in LOL.

Never noticed there are so many off-ballers on operationsports. Seen twitter recently? Stauff Ronnie and LD2k are all pro on-ball and have recently bashed the off-ballers. Lazy off-balling should definitely be nerfed. You guys say this is a horrible idea, but fail to state why. Yeah, it's 5-5 on but other defensive badges still trigger, such as but not limited to interceptor and defensive anchor.
