Unforced turnovers a problem or realistic?

Before you guys feed me to the wolves and say "it's a video game", I'm curious about the passing in this game.

Why do I have a player who's literally 5 feet away from another player and when I pass him in the ball it goes over his head and out of bounds for a turnover?

Not like some fluke, it happens regularly.

Am I hitting the wrong button? Am I really bad at the game?

To this day, I still don't understand why there are times where a full-court touchdown pass is safer than a 2-foot regular pass all because of a badge. I've seen high accuracy players throw passes out of bounds passing to an open man. Then you've got people chucking up Dilfer Dimes from hoop to hoop and scoring.

I understand unpredictability and minor mistakes and at least it's not too too common, but not players throw full court passes accurately, never mind every other possession.

I definitely see NBA players who are payed 8 figures dribble the ball into opponents leg multiple times a game.

Some of the turnovers are realistic but I would say at least 65% of them are BS.
