Ai defense versus manual Y/triangle cuts is terrible

Yeah I once played against a guy online who did nothing on offense but send LeBron James on manual off-ball cuts to the rim.

Even with the AI defense set to gap and 3/4 post defense, LeBron still got to the rim easily every time.

I ended up having to defend the cut by manually controlling LeBron's man. The AI just isn't equipped to defend the manual backdoor cut in this game. Having the right settings helps some, but there still isn't anything you can tweak in the settings to consistently shutdown those cuts. They will be open a lot of the time if you don't defend them manually.

Like I said then....MORE OUTCOMES. I've always thought the deflection out of bounds ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3DY2EkXZ-4 ) should be the default outcome for most of these instances (paint passing, big-to-big, manual cuts) Its not a turnover but rewards the D by making the offense operate later in the shot clock.

More than that...we have to agree that great passes into the paint for an easy score need to be rare, guys with pass accuracy ratings of 90+ are the only ones who should be having even minute success getting those passes through those tiny windows.

In all honesty defense is just broken from top to bottom. Every aspect seems to be flawed. This is just one area. I could write a book on all the problems that exist lol...
