The pass reaction defense should be toned down for 2k17.

Way too many ridiculous tipped or intercepted passes that no human would ever have time to react too. I'm honestly curious why it hasn't been addressed more throughout the year. It makes running plays awful and encourages turbo iso ball.

Especially if defender isn't looking at ball direction but do these Bruce Lee swings with arms and tip the ball, just because you press square you are able to tip the ball from any angle apparently.

I figured something was up. Thanks for being specific to the point I needed to make. Everytime I tried to intercept a pass or stand between something, I'd never get anything. Now that I know users aren't really tipping my passes, it's the cpu doing their dirty work!

I'm assuming you're playing online H2H?

What they'll do is play all your outside guys tight in the half court and the CPU will tip everything when you try to swing the ball, lol. Motion offense\Space the floor sets destroy this a lot of times fortunately. It's still annoying though.

HUM reaction is pretty unreliable this year....even when you time it right, you may take some weird angle moving you out of the path of the pass all together. That NBA 2K11 vid I posted in the other thread brought back some good memories. I think they toned it down because it could somewhat be abused...but they need to find a medium.

24th I think they did that in purpose this year. In the past human got no penalty for trying to steal a pass in the lane. That's why passing lane steals have to be timed very well this year. I kind of like it the way it is. If humans got any boost. You'll see zone defense become more effective.
