My career no white player

I'm sure many have already talked about it, you can't make a my career white guy I know majority are black. The story is about a black dude but most of us want create ourselves and we can't anyone mad about it?

I'm white in real life, but I make my character black.

Don't know if that's weird, but I've only really, really, played Baseball and Hockey before, seems unrealistic for me to be 6'7.

In Elder Scrolls Online I'm a Khajiit. I'm not a cat-person in real-life, just to also reassure everyone.

Overall though, they shouldn't rope you into any specific story line.

I can barely name any black main video game characters of the past decade, let us have this one. The majority of the NBA is black, majority of the 2K community is black or have the Urb upbringing, the majority of 2K YouTubers are black. You can still make white players, the story is only 15 games long, you don't have to watch cutscenes. 2K knows what their target audience is. Can't you tell by the dances, introductions, celebrations, taunts, emotes, hair, and even clothing?

I think it matters because it breaks immersion. Not everyone identifies with freq and that backstory and even though it's a game it's crazy to have a blond haired surfer dude with Black parents and twin sister. I like the story element and hope they keep it. But they need to make MyCareer actually reflect that. Like it was last gen. Rename the story part NBA: the life of (insert name). That's all it is anyway.

2k makes a great sport game...has no ****ing clue how to make an RPG.

Story mode needs to go away. Nobody wants to be forced into any one set storyline with no branching story That is like bad PS2 level of RPG. Easily the worst fleshed out idea 2k has ever had.
