I don't like the onscreen visuals that pop-up when plays are called, i'm actually not sure if you can turn that off, but to me it's always taken away from the immersion factor so I've avoided them. Also, I'm pretty sure that plays do run even if you don't call them, it's just kind of up to you to know where to move the ball at the right time.

For example, I think in the vid I posted there was a time where I rotated the ball to Bogut in the post. To me, that's sort of like a free-flowing organic postup play i guess. I think I've even seen like double picks just pop up without calling anything when playing with teams like the Spurs, but obviously a producer would have to confirm that.

I do call pick and rolls, moreso with teams like the Clippers, or if I'm really struggling to get a basket.

And yeah, thanks, its just 2k cam zoomed into 8 i think with height at its lowest

Yeah the CPU sets freelance offenses for you by default based on your lineup. You were in 4-1 most of the game I think. You could have selected the warriors freelance offense for exemple.

Btw you can turn off the p'n'r overlay in the option. Totally agree that it takes away from the immersion.

I like the mix of freestyle and freelance. It kind of feels like your CPU coach knows when to initiate the right play. I dont think it should affect the final score that much either way

While random, this post is a good basis for conversation...being that a lot of guys seem to struggle, or deem it impossible to beat the CPU on levels below HOF....havent watched yet but I will

Ive played over 200 full games myself, but I strangely feel compelled to watch this random quarter. I dont know why.
