Per usual, the 2K model is too thick. Arms...body. His shoulders are a tad too wide even.

Are we going to nitpick every player model for the entire off season? It's a video game. Everything can't be photo realistic. Video game consoles are not at that level of technology to replicate the human body exactly.....

But it seems like all of the player models suffer from the overly thick models. It seems like whatever "skeletons" they're wrapping with the players' skins are too thick.

Even the "skinny" Durant player model is too thick. No one is svelte & wiry in 2K. They might widen shoulders, lengthen arms, & shorten torsos -- but the models are just too "thick".

It might not be as noticeable until you wanna make a MyPlayers or Cap who's wiry as all get out, & the midsections are all the same width. No matter what. Then you look at the player models & it's like "wait..."

Back on topic:

I think I *could* live with players not getting the height on their dunks that they would in real life...if they fixed the hand-rim interaction. One without the other might be alright for another year, but both is getting bothersome now

IDK that animation just seems off to me. In the real video you can see the rotation and in the game it looks like he goes for a low cockback dunk.

I was actually going to ask about that. I've seen James do that dunk in 2K but never thought it was meant to be a windmill. Like you said, it always looked like a cockback instead, and an unnatural one at that. Definitely missing that full rotation.

I wonder if it's possible to link rim shaking to certain weighted players..... seeing the backboard shake violently when KD dunks just looks off.

Anyway, as you were fellas....
It is based off weight already.

Oh..... then something is off about it. Because KD ain't getting backboard shakes 99% of his dunks. Rim flick at most.

Not the end of the world if they at least get rid of that horrendous garbage disposal sound.....
