What?

I said flagrant fouls, my CPU teammate leveled someone in the halfcourt of a game with less than a minute to go for a flagrant foul and I've seen it happen many times in 2k, more than it should. You come back with a video of a common foul, who said anything about those?

Ontop of that with how hard the foul was it would have been a flagrant 2 in real life.

2k is taking steps towards the eSports direction (as seen by RTTF). You need to have as much control as possible, or limit randomness as much as possible in order to have the best competitive environment.

Flagrant fouls online are just unnecessary imo, regardless of time/score

I don't know if I can agree with that. But if you do want total control then add a play style indicator to dictate a personally trait to trigger a higher probably for calls based on play style for aggressiveness during the game. Based on time a player try to press, block, or steal during a game.

Make it an option that can be toggled on/off or something.

This thread is a convo of results vs 'realism'. The flagrant fouls in 2K might trigger at the "wrong" time & impact the outcome, but that's no reason to eliminate an entire call in the game.

More options - appeases both crowds. Everyone gets what they want. Easy.

Lol i couldn't keep up with the whole event but i'd believe it. I have limited experience with pro am but every game i've played there's been at least one flagrant.

We can never have true total control considering 4 CPU teammates, but I can agree with that. Maybe create a filter in the Play Now Online settings that allows people to play a more balanced game at the expense of some realism.

My point of view strictly stems from competitive gaming. 2K has interest in eSports and it can't work the way it's set up now.
