I think I went back and forth to the bathroom 20 times. After a ton of hilarious failures, I'm good with this. Looks pretty straight in-game.

So after deleting the app and reinstalling a couple times, the scan started to work. I didn't do anything different as far as lighting, positions. Then, the game told me I had to redo the scan because of errors. It worked after I continued to stare into the camera while turning my head. Just a heads up for anyone having problems like I was.

I got my best scan when I looked at the camera the whole time. Maybe that's not a coincidence.
