How to get the best face scan?

Please someone share tips on how to achieve a "great" scan grade on your face scan. 2k says that you should hold the phone 18 inches away from your face and you dont have to necessarily fill your face within the oval. Ive tried everything from rear to front facing and i still get only "average" scan grade with front facing and above avg with rear facing.

Please someone help pn this matter
