fwiw, it happens with other players as well, but they require some space. All it takes is a teeny bit.

Take a Lillard or McCollum for example. If you aren't on them to the point of fouling, they are going to make it. They don't even have good contested 3 ratings.

Does anyone have a good defensive setup against the 5-out freelance/spacing? Other than using Off ball. Having trouble defending this with strict onball defense because there's no help near the paint. Maybe a zone? Or a setting to make one or two players designated help defenders.

Good luck with that one. These guys using that offense don't even know how to use it right. Who runs a five out in the NBA? I got to talk to Da Craz on this one smh. This is one of those offenses where the defensive settings are critical to win. If your getting a lot of paint drives. I would shrink the floor. I know it sounds stupid. But I'd run them off the line.
