Online Leagues with Friends

Can you customize your online league to have only a specific number of player teams?

I'm trying to get a league going with my friends as we do every year. The schedule generated for a 14 game season/league has teams generated who aren't player teams. Nobody wants to play the AI in an online league.

Any help with be appreciated.

No this is not possible...cpu teams make up the non user teams. Devs said this is needed to replicate alot of the myleague offline features for online even though most of it broke...i.e. custom draft class upload...broken progression and regression...the lack or a real FA. Sorry for the rant but to answer your question, leagues are 2 to 30 teams only...can't customize the number of teams like last gen online leagues.

Thanks for the quick reply and the rant lol. I feel the same way about the online leauges. They added a lot of stuff as always but left out important factors to make it what it should be.

My friends and I have played online leagues for years. This makes it difficult to have a successful league. Will have to try and get creative.

Hi, I seem to be missing the MyLeague Online feature in 2k16 wherein I can replace some of the current teams with classic/euro or other teams in 2k17?

Was this feature omitted in MyLeague Online for NBA 2k17 or am I just missing a step?
