On court sound effects

Is there no on-court sound effects? I hear no squeaking of the shoes, no basketball hitting the floor, no players talking, no sound of the ball hitting the rim or net its just silent... I thought it was my TV so I switch to my other TV and it was the same result.. It just feels weird, everything is silent except for the PA announcer, crowd, and the commentators...
