Can't run pick and roll on higher difficulties AT ALL?

Is it just me or is there absolutely no way to run pick and roll on higher difficulties Superstar and up? I'm talking as the ball handler. The CPU gets their hands on every single ball I try to pass to the roll man. It's even happening on All Star quite a bit. I almost don't even try to run it they shut it down completely.

On basic high PNR?

Yeah. That's really easy to defend...

On rookie you can pass the ball through people and they don't respond. Great for badges.

They start ball hawking as early as pro difficulty.


Not to mention the CPUs are still the best interceptors since Deion Sanders.

Mode? Im having no problems in MyCareer (Superstar) and MyTeam. Its more difficult than in previous iterations, the cpu is good at intercepting if you pass at the wrong time, you really have to look and know when to pass. I like it the way it is, it was too easy before...

Have not had this issue to date. Is this a recent issue you've had or has this been a challenge from the beginning?

Who are you running the pick n roll with?

Some players are good for pick n rolls, and some aren't. Some players are good at setting screens and breaking towards the basket, and some are not. Without context it's hard to say.

I play with the Lakers. I can not run a PnR with Russell as the roll man on a consistent basis. He'll get lost or set a weak screen and sometimes the play breaks down, and I have to try to attack a mismatch. But, with Mozgov or Randle I can get buckets.

I'm playing on HOF with the Def awareness for CPU cranked up to 80 and I still get plenty of easy buckets on P&R. You just can't spam it every time and have to look for skip passes as well just like playing real basketball.
