Will something be done about the lack of moving screens being called?

I posted the nba rulebook on page one. You dont have to be stationary by rule and certainly not by practice. And cpu refs shouldnt be some all seeing eye that catches every foul. Imagine if holding was called every play in madden.

Do yall watch the NBA? on average like 1-2 illegal screen called per game.

You're not paying attention to the thread...unless you think it's alright for an offensive player to drag one or two players from the 3PT line to the paint.

It depends where the player is trying to run because you are allowed to move in general direction.. like back pedal slowly while making contact and moving depending on where defender is. Its a hard to judge foul even by nba referees who study it. I think there should be more called than zero (seems to be 0 now), but way less than last year.

That animation is glitchy... it looks like incidental contact.. the offensive player doesn't even need to be in a pick position. It happens to me a lot in career mode and its usually against a big. I'll be waiting for my match up to cross half then suddenly I'm being escorted into the paint lol

Let's try this again. Throw out the rule book and use common sense. There's an animation/glitch where if I'm the defender, the offensive player can push 1-2 defenders into the paint as he's merely walking/moving towards the rim. Being the defender, you're trapped in front of the offensive player, and you're unable to break free no matter how you move the LS. As a result, the ball handler gets an uncontested shot.

What people are doing is that they're calling for a screen (in PNO) then are zig zagging back and forth. What eventually happens is that the screener will move to the basket (whether it's on a roll or player just merely getting back into position), and the player will literally push 1-2 defenders to the paint like an offensive linebacker. From there, it's an uncontested 3.

Now, either 2K Sports can fix it so defenders can swim around the offensive player when it happens or call a moving screen.

The glitch animation has nothing to do with moving screens being called a foul. It needs to be fixed but can happen with the player just walking down the paint without hitting any kind of screen button. Can't sit and foul players out of proam games from simply walking down into the paint as a big. 2 separate issues imo.

You often see bigs walking through the lane. They also happen to be screening off a defender but it's not actually a screen so can't be called illegal as such.

However, the animation that we are all referring to is clearly a bug in the physics engine. If you watch it closely, the defender will be sliding along the floor and can't get around it.
