The trick that used to work for 2K16 (loading a custom roster in MyLeague, then backing out to the main menu and loading blacktop) doesn't seem to work anymore.

Apparently you can't anymore. This guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhoaDWh0GUk got an email from 2k support, and they said it was no longer in the game
