What does everyone think about current shot blocking foul calls?
I think this is not a major issue at the moment but it should not be overlooked.
I recently started a paint protector focusing on blocking around so I noticed this more often. There are 3 situations that there should not be any foul:
1. Many times I was called for a foul for contacts after a clean block. Sometimes, I just ignore and consider it as AI referee mistakes but it would be nice if they reduce such calls.
2. There are times when I didn't make any contact while blocking and somehow the system still detected a contact and called a foul. In the video below, I missed the ball but basically just jumped past the shooter without any contact and yet a foul was called.
3. And finally, this rarely happened but sometimes my hand just went through the ball and hit the shooter for a foul.
I had never paid close attention to such issues before but when I did it seems more noticeable than I thought.
Note: I mostly play my career so there is nothing I can change in terms of sliders.
