I really wish they'd at least allow every build to get hall of fame Pick Dodger badge to help counter the screen spam cheese a little bit :/

I just would like if there was more incentive to slow things down, it's ridiculously arcade and rewards the most basic and cheesy gameplay instead.

Sprinting around everywhere gets REALLY old quickly...

Less fast breaks when the idiot PGs and SGs stop insisting on crashing the boards. Also gives you more room in paint. But that goes into the playing real basketball bucket too. I dont see Chris Paul sprinting directly at Blake when he passes him the ball in the post.

Those teams are beatable, but you must have a disciplined offense, and on defense you really do have to communicate a lot and set a plan. That can neutralize it.

With that being said, it is a complete pain in the *** trying to do so and I don't think it's because they're more skilled, it's just fighting the game. Yeah it definitely gets old.

Re: Pro AM isn't real basketball

I have a lockdown defender SF 6'6" 200lbs I make the PG switch me on to whoever is shooting through screens and then I pinball around the double or triple screen with the help waiting on the far side. Not enough people come equipped with cheese stoppers in their lineups. I have most of the scoring badges and I score 15-30 a game on my lockdown defender due to people sagging like a diaper full of poop or just abuse smaller defenders on the inside with my 76 strength.

I think it's going to be hard to ever make it "real" basketball when you have 10 people playing.

I've actually thought of creating Video Game specific plays (cheese plays, basically). I think you'd have more success running Cheese Plays than NBA plays.

No I wouldn't.
All of my GF's sons friends play it nonstop.
They are all 13 and 14 years old.
Most of them have never played bball either, except for the occasional shooting around at the park.
I know her son has about 50 online friends that all play.

Just because you know a couple of kids who play it, doesn't mean it's mostly kids. The drewkerbockers, who won RTTF last year had 2 guys at around 18 and 3 in their mid 20's. That's how it is for most of the teams I know. I hosted a tournament for the top European teams in 2k16 and the youngest player was like 17. I'd say the average age is at around 20.

I think you just proved his point. The majority of people I've played with have been in their 20s and 30s. Of course, I can only speak to what I'm exposed to, just like you can only speak to what you're exposed to.
