Mycareer season 3 and beyond

Just wondering if anything worth playing happens after you finish season 2 in Mycareer. It's always been a problem in 2K, the first two years are great, then after that you might as well just be playing a bunch of play now games. Has anyone gotten a meaningful cutscene after season 2 besides retirement/championships?

I can't speak for 2k17, but in the past games there hasn't been any reason to continue.

I mean, there really isn't any change in season 2 either. They don't know I won a championship, they still talk about me like I've never done anything.

The only history the commentators ever reference is the previous game. David Aldridge will say something like "In the previous game against X, Pres had X, X, and X, back to you guys.."

And that's it.

It really is just Play Now with cutscenes and about 10 extra lines of dialogue for your player.
