So far for me slasher . They finish so damn well around the basket even with my LDD.

Slashers and shot creators who know what they are doing.

So I say a good shot creator, and sometimes a slasher
Sharp Shooters can be killer if they master "shooting off the dribble" without really shooting it off the dribble.

As soon as they let go of the left stick - it doesn't count as shooting off the dribble (from what I've heard, at least), so they can get a ton of easy shots like this.

Someone else mentioned it, but they should make it so if you had just finished running in the past 0.5 to 1 sec - it should still count as shooting off dribble.

Yeah, I had a whole thread about it and then people thought I was trying to make shot creators over powered or something. I just wanna see them play like there were designed for.

Shot creators. Ugh. Especially the ones who just zigzag back and forth until they get an easy look. Those are the bane of my existence.

Re: in your opinion, which archtype is the hardest to guard?

Sharpshooter

If they get an inch of space off ball or off a screen... BANG

If I soft hedge the screen with another defender: they can hide behind the screen from limitless... BANG

If I take a wrong step in my prediction off ball: they can go the opposite way and... BANG

If I hug them tight and run them off the screen: they have enough speed with ball to beat me to the cup... BANG

You can hold them to 0 for 4 the their 5th attempt could be the game winner from anywhere or could be the dagger.. BANG

This is from experience using a 6ft6 Playmaker and 6ft4 Shot Creator.. both PG

You look at their numbers.. they are within 3-4 points of speed with ball and ball control as Slasher and Shot Creators.. they have as much strength as Slasher and equal or better Rebounding.. they are stronger and better rebounder than Shot Creator

Don't be fooled by that low rating in Dunking and Layups.. a 50 is as good as anything below 80 or 85 it seems like albeit you don't get certain flashy dunks...

I'm in Pro Am seeing 6ft3 and under type Sharpshooter making standing layups in contact and driving layups in contact as well as dunking in traffic lol

Its the most trying build for me to keep at bay... I'll have games where they shoot under 50% but by sheer volume and 3s they are still able to get about 18 points in pro am going 5 for 15 but making 5 3s and getting some free throws..

In Park, a Sharpshooter with Game Point badge is the deadliest dagger.

Re: in your opinion, which archtype is the hardest to guard?

If taking into account help defense, then sharpshooters/stretch bigs for sure. You'd be surprised at the IQ of randoms when you're guarding a stretch big or sharpshooter and they continually run off screens but instead of helping over the screen to prevent the same exact near halfcourt 3 from happening, they end up playing under and you pay for it.

If we're talking one on one without the use of screens/help defense, then it's a bit more easy because one on one they typically aren't that hard to stay with. I'd say post scorers/slashers overall. The thing with those playtypes is that if you have the right person playing with those archetypes, they have the moves that can make you think they're going one way then go another and get the score. Those are the hard ones to guard because you have to be disciplined on defense and not act on instinct by jumping up at anything coming to the rim.
