Which do you prefer and why?

Teamup because you can actually play like the player you want to recreate. In pro am you play with very limited caps. You can't even be a Deandre Jordan, Ibaka, Rose, etc. You can actually tell the difference between players.

I tell you this I've played many games in teamup and even when we did '96 Bulls vs '00 Lakers the game was fine nobody is unstoppable if you know how to defend.
2k is just scared and lazy thats why they cap so much year after year MyCareer mode.

If they let us just copy from an actual or retired NBA player into MyCareer everything would be way better.

I also am a fan of Team-Up. My reasoning is that, the second any user in Pro-Am sees the term "Sharpshooter" next to my name, they know exactly what I can do and can't do. It takes all the guess work of guarding your man. In Team-Up, I can choose just about any player I want and be effective in multiple areas of the game. If I choose a higher level player (MJ, Kobe, LeBron), I won't have any weaknesses and even if I choose a player that's not as high level (Larry Johnson, Joe Johnson) I can be effective in multiple aspects of the game. You can't just take away one thing and be successful as you can in Pro-Am.

I enjoy playing Team Up more. Created players are fun, but I get more satisfaction from rolling with the real players and utilizing them they way they play in real life.

I prefer to play Pro-AM because it seems like there's more of a community there, and there's wins/losses blah blah, but team up runs so much better and is more fun to me.

I guess Pro-AM because I play it more.
Team up is what we play when Pro-AM has burned us out or we're looking for a change of pace.
