Can't Make Trades in Start Today Myleague?

I just started a Start Today Myleague and I can't make trades. Anyone else have this problem with Start Today? Is this a glitch?

I think the trade deadline takes place earlier in 2K. I could be wrong, but when you start today the deadline is already passed on the calendar

You're correct it's the week before right before the all star game.

Make sure you have trade deadline turned off in the myleague settings before you start it and you can make today's trades.

Thanks, fellas. Yeah, turning trade deadline off before starting works.

I also noticed that alot of the lower rated players on depth charts don't have any stats for the 2016-17 season in Start Today. For example, Juancho Hernangomez of the Denver Nuggets has played in 40 games averaging 13 minutes a game this year. But in Start Today, it says he hasn't played a single game. The guy was the 15th overall pick in the draft, so that's kind of annoying. There's quite a few other players like that too.

Does anyone know that if you use: Start Today - that it will include the updated roster? I'm not at home at the moment so I would try it out myself - just wanted to know if anyone has tried it or could try it and let me know. Thanks in advance to all that reply....

Yeah it uses the latest roster with all the deadline deals.
