What Even Is this? Please 2k

I need answers.

This is not a one time glitch. I can replicate this every single play down the court if I wanted to. How do I prevent this from happening? I am truly disgusted that this is what the CPU Players resort to to play defense.

I have a 95 speed, 97 Acceleration, 97 Speed with ball.

I mean I could have sworn I was playing a basketball game?
If It looks like basketball, smells like , and feels like Hockey, you're probably playing NBA2k17.

CP3 Turned into the Silver Surfer, and whipped around with lightning speed to stop me.

If CP3 retires as THE single greatest on ball defender of all time, then you can tell me this is possible.

If CP3 can clock lane agility speeds of 1 sec and below, THEN, and ONLY THEN should this be acceptable.

This needs to be shown, this in itself is a single issue distinct from the other issues in the game. This is MORE than a whoopsie.

This doesn't happen consistently on any difficulty BUT HOF.

SO my question is : Why On HOF, does your CPU teammates, not have nearly the amount of superhuman abilities or IQ that the CPU opponents have? If they can slide I want my whole roster to be able to slide too. They play 1 DefRTG type defense and I can't have Pippen stay infront of Perkins.

Because you are on Hall of Fame. Difficulty in 2K is basically just a slider for how much cheese the CPU is allowed to use and HOF means pull out all the stops and make sure the player doesn't score no matter how unrealistic, cheesy, abusive, and down right dirty what they have to do to prevent a basket is.

Yep.

Sliders apply on a your team / AI separate basis, that's exactly what difficulty levels are: adjusting the sliders in either your (Rookie / Pro) or the CPU's (Superstar / HOF) favour.

The over physicality, sliding, morphing by the CPU has been discussed many times already. Its my least favorite part of the game and not exclusive to HOF....

We don't need another individual thread on it though- I suggest using the upcoming patch thread.....hopefully if it's something that's even possible to fix THIS year. Mike has said it's definitely a focus for 2K18.

It's disgusting that they charge money for this. If EA can't beat this, they need to just fold as a company.
