I mean it happens a lot in real life, however in game no matter how tightly contested your hook shot is it is never called as a foul, yet they can get blocked consistently.

Yea it is kinda weird especially when one of the most controversial foul calls ever (Lambeer's) was on a hook shot. You'd think they would be a little more common
