Is player lock still as fun as it was in past games??

I always loved locking onto a player. Playing with CPU teammates gave the game a whole different feel and I thought it worked well. Last time I used player lock was previous gen on 2k15. Anyone do it for current gen and do you enjoy it?

Offensively, I don't think so.

Defensively, I love using player lock on my Center because it gives me a chance to protect the rim when my teammates let their man blow past them. If I don't player lock as Center, he drifts out the paint and allows wide open lanes for the offense.

Of course, It would be very annoying to have to switch back and forth from player lock every time you're on offense or defense so you kinda just have to pick your poison

Offensively it can get very annoying if you're not playing PG.
Your CPU Teammates don't know how to act, and break plays that are longer than 5 seconds.

On 2k15 on the 360 they are pretty competent. I call specific plays and they usually make some great plays both for me and them. I can also make them shoot instantly or pass if I want to.
