NBA Live's face scanning is much easier to use and pretty accurate, but I have to admit that 2K did improve this year with their app. Like Live, 2K's circular face scan area should light up green when you're at the proper distance to get a good scan but they did a pretty good job IMO.

Ditto. EA facescans consistently come correct. Was pleasantly surprised with 2k18's face scanning though... probably because they worked horribly for me in the past. So when it was functional this year, was quite happy

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a dramatic drop in quality of graphics in the face scan from the prelude to the actual game. My prelude facescan looked great then it transferred over to myCareer and it looked incredibly low resolution. Am I alone?

That happened to me when I did the restart glitch for the Prelude.
