One of the reasons I didn't do my player/my career last year. I'm strictly an offline player but I'm 2k16 I got to a decent overall and won a championship. Once 2k17 I really didn't feel like making a player all over again just to do the same thing all over again. At least this year there seems to be enough changes to the mode and gameplay that I might not mind the grind as much because it will be something new.

I like this whole my neighborhood thing, but you can essentially put Grand Theft Auto lite into your NBA game, but still haven't updated the player models for majority of the all time and classic teams? Jersey colors are still off or entirely wrong. Courts are either wrong or the color is off. Also you continue to move away from what has made you successful, which is signature style in gameplay differentiating players individual playstyles from each other. That includes signature celebrations, animations (where is Jordan's tongue animation and why is he celebrating like JR Smith?)

But we get to go to Foot Locker and the barbershop...
