Can we please kill the “We want tacos” chant?

I don’t even know if Taco Bell still does that promo, but I do know I’ve never heard a live crowd start that chant. It’s time to get rid of it, because it really kills the immersion, especially when they start chanting it when the home team is losing.

Why? It's a "little thing" and it adds to the crowd immersion, which sounds good this year. Also, a team doesn't have to win the game for the promotion, it's usually something like score 100 points or something. If anything we need more variety in crowd chants.

I want venue specific PA announcers and more organ and PA music depending on the era and location. They did a lot of that in 2k12 and jsut for some reason, they abandoned it all. UGH!

Only chants I want gone is that "GO (insert team name) GO!" chant. That is the most generic chant which is used for almost all the teams. Horrible!

I'll give prop to the sound team though they added a bunch of new chants this year. Have you guys played at Milwaukee yet? It sounds like a cult chanting lol

"We want Rasing Cane's fries" or "We want 50% off at Papa Johns" don't exactly roll off of the tongue.

When I go to Pelicans games the main thing they seem to play is the Cha Cha Slide's "Clap, clap, clap your hand's" part over and over. Maybe someday we will get custom sounds so we can add these in ourselves.

It doesn’t add to the immersion when it’s not a thing in that arena. Personally, I’ve never heard that chant at the Q.

It also kills the immersion when the team is losing, but the fans only care about free tacos. It happens when the team is close to 100 points, regardless of the other team’s score.

At the very least, have the commentary address it and include it in the presentation for the night. As it stands now, it is just thrown in and really annoying.
