NBA 2K18 - Can you change appearance in MyGM?

Is it possible to change the appearance of your GM character in MyGM mode?

I bought extra hairstyles, facial hair, and clothes from the shops in MyPlayer mode, but I can't edit them into my player in the MyPlayer appearance options from the main menu, and I didn't notice anything in MyGM to edit my appearance.

I hope I'm just missing something, because this would be 2 years in a row that I can't change my appearance in MyGM, when that was an option in 2K16.

Same here. Unlike 2K17 where when you change appearance (hair / facial hair) it reflected right into your MyGM profile. In here I noticed, whatever mug shot you have when you start, it will not change.

Either they patch it, or start a new MyGM.

I guess that's the question tho, is it actually a bug, or as intended?

It looks like it follows the character we have by default, with limited hairstyle and no facial hair. I tried new MyGM saves after changing hair inside MyPlayer. It doesn’t affect MyGM appearance.

My dude looks like such a nerd and because irl I have a beard the scan looks like I have weird face scars and I can't choose an in game beard to cover it.
