I've noticed something like this too, except in my opinion it's not only player overall but also player record influencing this. I'm 200-30 in The Playground (5-10 dc's from stage and house rules) and we slap guys with good (3:1) or great records off the court easily but often times we will struggle against guys with terrible or bad records who usually also have lower rated players. We got beat twice by just one guy making dumb contested threes (he even tried a halfcourt one and it swished) and he even messaged me telling us we got cheesed bad and usually he doesn't make that many shots. Guess what his ratio was 1:1 W/L.

Overall statistics don't mean as much as you think, badges are far more important.

My buddy on PS4 is a 76 overall, has 3 golds, 5 silvers and has a record of 291-31. He's been playing a ton of My Park ever since he was a 60, when the game first came out.

He's, literally, the only player I've ever played 2k against where I can't consistently beat him, whether it's My Park, Pro AM, a quick game etc.

When you understand how to exploit a defense and play consistent on ball / off ball defense, WITH having badges, the overall statistics of your player don't factor in too much IMO. It also helps if you run with a consistent 3s team as well.

Badges > Attributes IMO

Also, I find myself losing to new players or scrubs for a reason no one has mentioned: Predictability. When you play good competition repeatedly, you build a mental database of stuff you see repeatedly, so you can auto pilot through most scenarios.

You also discard "bad" or "less successful" tactics, as most good competition will never use them.

I find that poor players will do things so far outside of the spectrum of what I'm used to, that it can catch me off guard. I suspect a lot of us are that way.

Well but the fact that game in playground is like in 20 fps make this mode unplayable.

There is no way that you playing with this fps drops and saying naaah its allright....

We want clear 60 fps like in other modes this cant be just leaved like it is now its unacceptable

Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)

Late contest on laups matter too much.

Random blocks doing pumpfakes.

Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.
