From a stand still, are the size-up combos unresponsive?

My main issue remains that I can't control which hand the ball is in coming up court.

I can't state how many times I've tried to come up court and do one crossover move to create space, but instead do a hesitation move because my player randomly decided to switch ball hands without my input, and got ripped or peeled.

I have honestly lost count.

It's not really unresponsive. But a lot of the time, the player who we're controlling switches ball hands which can mess up the dribbling combinations.

I a lot users don't even know how to use the moves. Even I learned from this video.

I'm pretty sure those automated dribbling animations that kick in whenever you're bringing the ball up the court weren't in the game last year?

They really need to be removed because they will change your ball hand suddenly without any user input, and if you're trying to do a dribble combo when that automated sequence kicks in, it will screw up the dribble move you were trying to do.

Are you talking about the animation that kicks in when the users input or tries to chain dribble move you can't chain together in real life?

The hand-switching thing is awkward as hell.

Trick is to turbo so you break out of the silly "bring the ball up " animation.

Another thing is that in 2K18, the hand-switch when you change directions is a lot "quicker" than 2K17. This actually leads to times when yeah, instead of doing a hesi you do a crossover or vice versa.

Overall the dribbling is pretty good in 2K18 but there's still areas they can improve on.
