What happened to this game?

Just like everyone else I was extremely excited when this NBA 2k18 was released and at launch this game was perfect. However through useless patches and seemingly making this game feel like 2k17 I'm pretty much at a lost for words. I'm confused as to how those who were involved in creating this game still have jobs because after so long the disappointments are unacceptable. Removing the ability to edit body types, CPU players being able to blow by you, playing ridiculously horrible defense against the CPU and your teammates having the IQs of dead roaches, are a few issues that come to mind. Stop patching this game every five minutes for 10 year olds and people who want to make 99.9% of their shots every game. I just want that fresh out of the box feel who's with me?

Gameplay hardly adjusted from the release, just more and more people figuring out the "money" ways to play. And likewise for offline, you just naturally enjoy game when its just released as you learning the game and don't pay much attention to gameplay flaws as a result.

Idk. I mean I still play it. Adjusted the sliders to how realistic I can get it. I still enjoy it

Another one just complaining about patches changing the game... you most be a troll.
No patches have changed the game that significantly that you should start losing all your game. You need to get a different perspective on this.

This is something people say EVERY year. The game is fine out of the box then 10 year olds complain and 2K listens to them and patches the game to cater to their playing style.
Why do you think 2K would make a game and then, year after year, patch it for the "ten year olds"? Why wouldn't they make it "dumbed down" for them in the first place if they then patch it for them? It doesn't make sense.

It's arguments like that that just makes me think you, and others who complain about patches, are just trolls who have no clue what's going on.
