Does anyone use an xbox elite controller for this game? And if so is it worth it?

I have an elite controller as well as a SCUF. Neither will give you an advantage in 2k IMO. If we're talking FPS then it's definitely worth it but for 2k...Nah. I prefer using my regular controller.

So how does it work? Lets say I buy it, could I then map the alley opps function to 1 button/ Or the spin move to one button?

I have an elite controller and play 2K mostly. It does feel better in your hands opposed to the controller that comes with the XBox. The weight and grips gives it a good feel to it. As for remapping I belive you can do it but i havent done it myself so don't quote me on how much you may be able to do. If you're looking to possibly get one I would say yes go for it.

I'm sure you can remap the controller to your liking. I don't know the actual limits on it though. If you really want one then make that purchase.

Pretty sure you can't map macros to the paddles. You can only remap buttons.

So no, you couldn't do what you are suggesting.

You could remap, for example, the pass button to the paddle so you wouldn't have to take your hands off the sticks though.

There's absolutely no advantage for the nba games because remapped keys aren't even needed, you can get much cheaper and better options below the price range of the Elite controller, https://appuals.com/the-5-best-xbox-...o-buy-in-2019/ these are some great contenders. So nope, don't get the elite if you think you will get the advantage of the extra keys.
