Yep, even more weird is that 2k has not been transparent in regards to why certain things are the way they are, maybe they feel that by acknowledging that the competition has something they dont is worse.

I wouldn't give my cards either. Since the Shot Meter. I've actually been more happy for them to shut their mouths. The game is about having fun. Some of us lost that in here.

Quite why either arena would make an exclusive deal like that anyway is odd. Hard to believe that given the number of games EA (Live, NHL, UFC) and 2K (2k, previously hockey) would have had to pay them in order to include the arena in their respective IP's it's hard to believe they benefit from an upfront deal like that anyway.

Money talks, and EA is one if not the biggest game developer around, I believe 2k refused to pay them some outrageous price but Live agreed and they made an exclusive deal, 2k cant even use a certain blue that the knicks use, its a special blue that is copy writen.
