So mike wang gonna change the jumpshot meter every year?

2k been struggle to find a happy meter since it was introduce,we didn't have this problem last gen.maybe we can do without the meter.

Too many people use it as crutch. It's not going anywhere. Personally, I wish they would take it out.

EDIT: If people forgot, it was introduced in 2K15. In 2K14, the circle would pulse blue when it was time to release. At that time and before, I was actually learning my players' shooting animations.

I can hit consistently on a center with a 61 3 ball without the meter. I ONLY watch his hands and it's fine.

You don't need the meter. You can disable it. Hell, i miss i know why. I have a "feel" for his shot and that's all you need.

Agreed! I just learn my team and have never used the meter. I don’t even know how someone could play and watch the meter as they are shooting? Talk about immersion killer. But to each their own...

Shot Meter is always broken for post or around paint shots that are timed. Pretty sure thats why post hooks have been broken for so long.

All they care about is 3s so I'm not surprised that the shot meter is a main focus

Just turn it off and look at the release like we did for the 25 previous years of video game basketball.

I turned that thing off 2 years ago, haven't looked back since
