We should be seeing a ceiling right? Milwaukee arena isn't lit that dark right? Arena lighting looks to be the same from this first pic....

Need to see some more...

From the looks of things the crowds are still dark. Typical copy and paste from first glance, could just be the filter covering the video. Gifs of the 2K19 snippets:

Is that from the trailer? If it is I'm not liking having another year of arenas being played in a cave.

The trailer and the screenshot not looking the same to me his arms have completely no definition in the trailer and they look smaller in the shoulder area in the trailer then in the pic.

Re: Giannis Antetokounmpo is the Cover Athlete For NBA 2K19 Standard Edition

Great choice as a cover athlete... I for one was never really taken in by who is on a cover for a sports game... Even more so not owning any physical copies, am strictly digital this gen..

But diving deeper from what Giannis represents as an individual I think the covers these days represents the theme and focus of the sports title... So here is my interpretations of what the cover athlete means to NBA 2k19 to capture his real life representation in the game

1. Great defender - One on one defense is a focus especially wing span effectiveness (shading defense, jumping cut off lane animations with right stick flicking)

2. Great finisher around the rim- am thinking layups will be easier to make plus going back to direction on right stick is not which hand to finish around the rim with but also about which side of the rim ( left is finish on the left, towards is quick finish, away floater or power finish) to finish on

3.Great open court finisher - fast break logic will be improved with better lane running

4. Contact finisher - better contact animations both on the perimeter and in the paint

5. Long strides - I think the push ahead dribble animation will be brought back to fully incapsulate Giannis long strides he makes

6. Emotions - more player specific emotional celebration to capture the emotions of players

7. Fun - Giannis a funny guy and lots of fun to watch play... I think VC will focus on making the game FUN over all else with a great balance of defense and offense to keep users invested longer than NBA 2k18 was able to

I remember the Gordon Heyward pic from last year. It didn't look THAT good on my launch XB1system at home. I checked again after upgrading to the 1X on my 4K tv and it was.

Looks good, but I hope these are visuals aren't doctored just for "showcasing" purposes. Remember the LeBron screenshot we thought we were getting in game only to be disappointed.
