How well do you think "athleticism" is represented in 2k?

With 2k19 around the corner I'm hoping that this is the year we truly see a difference in bigs and wings. While the game itself is going to a more "position-less"style, the fact of the matter is there's a reason 6'2 and under guards can have a job in the NBA. This year it's so bland between how bigs can move compared to the wings. Can we at least agree that the slowest wing should have a step on the slowest big?

There's a reason not everyone is 7' in the NBA. There's a reason 6'9 is the average center height right now.

Athleticism NEEDS to make a comeback in this game.

More dunks, more tipped rebounds, more hustle plays. The game speed itself could get a few ticks. More take off angles, faster gathers. These are things i think would enhance the game immensely.

I tend to use Spurs most of the time in PNO and when i'm against GSW with Iggy+Draymond front court i never feel like at some speed disadvantage with Aldridge+Gasol. The fact that u can trigger blow by dribbling animation and snatchbacks with 7'3 340 lb is a joke .
It used to be better though, i really enjoyed my 6'9 PF in nba 2k16 as well as using shorter bigs there.

Just played a blacktop on superstar, 2 on 2 full court, Dirk kept up with Gary Payton the whole length of the court.

Athleticism isn't represented as well as it would be if it wasn't so hard to get to your spot on the court when moving off ball. I absolutely hate having plays called for me that require me to move across the paint because the timing of the play is completely thrown off by how easily your lane is blocked by any player anywhere near your path.

With the complaints about blow-by animations this year, you can guarantee slidey stonewall defence will be back in 19 so I wouldn’t get my hopes up on that first step athleticism if I were you.

This is true 2k can't seem to find the balance for this game. The dev's should just leave Twitter so they don't have to deal with the man babies complaining.
