I think he knows that....he just wants 2k to put more effort when it comes to stats overlay and the like. Make it look like what you see on tv rather than what 2k offers. I agree with him, this is some generic stuff 2k is doing.

2k needs a tv license so we can get a real tv style presentation...hell anything...I don't care who just as long it looks authentic.

NBA 2k can use TNT or NBA Network presentation but both probably too expensive for 2k to buy one of them

2K doesn't even need to use either, imo. They just need to make their own 2K (which is basically TNT) presentation mimic real broadcasts more. For example, we don't need the stat banners in game to have action shots of players in them. Just give us the stats. Or when I'm at the free throw line, it be nice to see what the game and career free throw percentage (2K9 had this) is for the player. At halftime they need to reference other games and happenings as well as spotlight individual performances with highlights (Kenny Stamp of Approval, also from 2K9) from the current game.

Personally, I wouldn't put that much emphasis on the colors and details (per se), because it's not MY tv that it's being viewed on.
