I don't really care as much for the double takeover thing, but I do want to know how upgrading ratings will work. Is it going to be like last year where once we hit 90, it's weeks/months before we have any idea what our next upgrade is?

Last year's 2k create-a-build websites did as well as they could, but the one thing nobody could truly predict is when you hit your cap on an upgrade. I remember making my player thinking "It says he'll get to 86 ball control"....but I didn't get the memo that I would get it at 96 or 97. Good thing I didn't really feel like I was missing it.

It shouldn't be easy to get it. Seems like none of you play that much. My buddy only plays park and pro am mostly. Hates career. He still has 92 and a 93 (yes he bought VC).

Truth be told beyond 95...is where the pain begins. It becomes a job. 94 seems okay as long as they don't make the grind even worse.

this is why i think rep rewards need to combine progress across a users multiple builds on their account, i honestly dont know a single hardcore 2k head who doesnt have more than one build, which should be rewarded cause if they paying for those builds which most of em are, they are $50 bucks a pop, so what ended up happening this year was people had one main build got that build to 91+ and then had a bunch of other builds that are 88-90 ovr, but if you combined all the rep of all my builds to make one grand total of rep im pretty sure i woulda got close to 99 this year, but since i spread rep among 5+ builds highest i got was like 93+ accidently deleted my main player a couple months ago right before i turned 93 ovr with it, but long story short people who make and pay for multiple builds need to be accounted for and rewarded in rep rewards, and rep rewards should be rewarded across all builds, if i got 94 overall in my combined rep, i should get 2 takeovers in all my builds for the rest of the 2k year i make then etc.

since money talks adding this... getting to 94 overall will be more profitable than the animation glitfch, cause as soon as people hit 94 they will spend at least $50 making a new build with 2 takeovers on it from the start cause ya earned it on your combined rep rating, the whales will spend $1000's trying multiple 2 takeover builds, but if they all have to grind each one of their builds to 94 before getting 2 takeovers, they will only spend $100-200 on builds

also if this model is implemented, there has to be a mechanism where take over 1 and 2 only will unlock after you max out your primary and secondary attributes respectively, to prevent people from abusing ish stain(low overall rating builds aka new builds not spent vc on) builds with 2 takeovers trolling newbs

disclaimer i know some of you are very anti-VC but sorry welcome to gaming in 2018, im just telling 2k how to cater to the online my player "whales" out there
