NBA 2k and VC is still the king of the hill at the moment but this EA has finally cemented their flag in the ground and is demanding the general public take notice.
Man get out of here NBA Live 19 is still behind 2K 18 when it comes to features and mechanics. NBA Live had nowhere but to go but up after falling behind for the last 10 years.

Yea that's the sad truth. You'd think they'd learn or be loyal but the way sales and shareholders work it probably is a foregone conclusion.

I'd say 2ks days of giving "us" whatever they want and saying deal with it are numbered. Some people I disagree with... 19 barely better than live 10?? Live 10 was one of my favorite online games but to say it's still like that is just not true.

2k will always have more features. What live can get is actually competitive 5 on 5 online balance, where the best players win. They need to stay that path. I'd pay sixty for a well balanced game that was only based on online multi-player. If it stays far enough under the radar they can never squeeze for vc, that's better for me.

Edit: I don't think you dudes are speaking honestly about how awful 2k net play is from a skill based, high intelligence wins point of view. But as a functioning whole game 2k is great. Just not online. Online tricks you into thinking it's good but is ultimately frustrating.

This is a ridiculous post. You do realize that NBA Live's franchise mode was one of the major complaints of recent reviewers? But yet, according to you it's better than 2k's? LOL.

Learn what, that when given a choice people will take the easy route and then complain that it cost too much, YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY VC.

Re: NBA 2k Franchise Days Are "NUMBERED"

Live focuses more on the basketball motion skills and IQ.

2k focuses more on the basketball concepts and personnel IQ.

2k provides a better sim nba play.

Live provides a more realistic feeling and organic street play.

When the nba stars play pickup at those local gyms... that looks so much like nba live. Those clips don’t look like 2k.

But then when you watch nba play, that looks much more like 2k.

Yea I don't care what it looks like or what it's called, remember that snes game ballz or whatever that was a fighter and the characters were made up of balls. Or like lo res polygons like virtua fighter 1, can we just get a game that somewhat resembles real basketball?

People have this idea that people don't want a game like that. I disagree. We've never had it so how do you know? They act like people need to be splashing 35 footers and dunking from the ft line.
