Running to corner in ProAm Issue

I play point guard for my ProAm team and one of my bread and butter plays is to my SG on the break. If we have a two on one, or if he beats his defender down court, as a shooter, he’ll be able to get wide open in the corner. This year, many times my pass will lead him towards the hoop, which will force him to be contested or for me to turn the ball over. We aren’t doing anything different than last year.

Anyone else run into a similar issue, or found a fix?

This. Pressing L2 while on the fastbreak the guy in front will turn around and actually face you instead of facing the basket which makes it easier to catch

This tip is amazing, was this in last year’s game too? This makes it infinitely easier to catch and shoot quickly on the sideline.

I can confirm this works. I had to resort to this in My Career and I've continued to use this action with user teammates. It helps the shooter to catch the ball in a square-up stance otherwise my character will drift mindlessly. I originally thought it was my controller.

*It may not have been this wonky when the game was first released.
