The State of MyLeague Online in 2k19 and Concerns about MLO in 2k20

Please try and fix these issues for our small community of MLO members that love the game mode more than the others on 2k, some of us have been playing for 5+ years and would hate to call it quits because of such a minor problem that can be fixed.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted...... NIGHTMARE!!!!

Man feels like Deja Vu as much as I've had to come back here and speak on the negative MLO experiences we've had in NBA 2k. Its definitely a Love/Hate Relationship. Every year 2k puts on the little Red Dress with the Blogs, Trailers and all the Rating Screenshot in-between. When we finally get final product- WOW we get those same beautiful graphics, that beautiful gameplay that gets better each year, the game modes so deep MyGM, MyCareer great depth, MyTeam another great mode that gets life with all the weekly challenges and gets exciting every time you play because you never know what new cards you'll get to improve your team.... AHHHHHHHH now all the hype is built the wow factor is in full affect you can only expect the same love to be dispersed to a mode like MLO (MyLeague Online) where its 30+ users ready to play and build dynasty's for the long haul. Offline MyGM and MyLeague are designed to do the same just with one user and is so in-depth we can only expect that same effort if not TWICE the effort for a mode that to be translated to MLO.

Expectations and excitement (at a glance) has been MET. You see the mode and the options in the menu's, you see features that have been missing FINALLY added- We are PLEASED nothing else to ask for now we get to just ball and not spend the sleepless nights on Spread sheets working on Salary's or Free Agency. We finally get to play and things are great until we start to notice "Hassan Whiteside would like to sign an extension but.... nothing happens when offered" oookkkk thats fine maybe we can try it during the closer to the deadline.... Same issue continues.... huh ok (as normal we shrug it off) "it's ok we'll just manually add it no problem" now we are starting back having to do little edit on our own. Next we get to the offseason start noticing delays "oh it'll be ok its just peak hours for the servers, it'll be back in the AM" again shrugging off as if it was nothing, then we move forward and these issues JUST GET BIGGER AND BIGGER.

All this leads us to today, 5+ restarts, 4 Offline recreations of Full Rosters including 2 restarts that led to 6 days of playability before glitching all of this within the last week and a half. SOOOOO MANY HOURS spent on a game that should work as advertised. We don't receive Checks from 2k Sports (wishful thinking tho )for all the hours we have to spend just to enjoy a mode. We have been at this fight since the switch over to Next Gen and have gotten to this point fed up with how the mode just seems to pushed out and then ignored when we ask for things that were advertised not us asking for the world just what you sold us on and everyone expects to get what they pay for.

At this point MOST if not ALL of the issues we've faced this year have been server related. Theres been some hope-bait advertised lately maybe to keep the dogs calm for the time being. But we just want the mode to be playable we shouldn't have to wake up at 5-6 am or stay up until 1-2 AM to start an offseason in fear of the servers being overloaded or potentially glitching your league out. We've gone from 58 games season and going deep into MLO and have since ran away from that to 29 game seasons so that we can get to the offseason quicker and get the stress out of the way. We're willing to pay for the mode separately at this point whatever gets us a "as advertised" MLO or a Carbon Copy of the OFFLINE MyLeague we are willing to pay for that. Until then we will come in to NBA 2K20 some as Optimist some as Pessimist for all the reasons and stories in this type up. We will be looking forward for all the work done.

Being apart of SCH is a blessing and is the best league in the world, hands down.

THE SERVERS ON MLO ARE TRASH!!

Pointing out the obvious, with the amount of work we do to fix the work to the dev's and have to work around there faults to make it work...because we are that good.

You could easily pick people like us to test the systems and make sure people actually know what they are doing, not much video game coding but just the knowledge of everything else including basketball knowledge and CBA information.

Working offseasons, like just make the offline leagues available online...I dont think it would be that difficult to mirror everything you do there. With stable servers with no major glitches that ruins a OA, listen to us and know your Audience, if you provide us with the working leagues more people will join.

We play a mlo year by year.. draft and free agency manage us with site and a good system.

Great Article, I’m pretty new to the MLO but I found most aspects of the league were great with the exception of the servers crashing which forced the commish to go into scramble mode just to try and save the league Hopefully 2k can fix this issue come 2k20 but I’m not optimistic

First I will like thank you for well put together Article on an issue the 2k continues to ignore.......Its disappointing that every year lack of effort 2K putting towards their servers and lack of effort to correct them

Multiplayer online experience is evolving every year and 2k decides not to keep up for whatever reason. Online leagues is a great feature in a game like madden that 2k decides to do whatever just to please their consumers and it's terrible

my league online is practicaly only mode that me and other 50 guys in my group/league are playing....so we are really waiting for some news about it,...

I couldn’t agree more... so much has been put in this mypark mode just wish they could give better effort in the MLO... there is much potential in this and the sim world would gladly appreciate this and is well deserved.... #2kAintJustForMyPlayers
