I believe it. I mentioned in another thread why I think why. The WNBA is built from the ground up. The transition animations are much more cleaner and smoother to look at. Not a lot of wonky animations happening from all the gameplay I've watched and I'm really looking forward to playing this mode.

OT: I was just thinking about momentous trailer. Maybe next year I will bribe him a free game on steam so I can get an exclusive to watch his trailer early lol

Seems like this happened another year too...we didn't get a Momenteous trailer until release. I'm looking forward to it regardless.

NBA 2K12's Momentous is the first that always comes to mind. The fusion of classics and currents is just way too sharp. Loved seeing the era filters in action for the first time and all the modern highlights just looked so clean.



Classic teams are clearly my schtick so maybe it's bias but I struggle to understand why 2K never slips at least one (JUST ONE) classic clip in one of their debut trailers these days. A snippet of Steve Nash licking his fingers or Shawn Kemp doing one of his signature dunks. Seems like a missed opportunity.

Edit: Also add me to the pile of people who don't understand why his trailers have been relegated to release day. I know it may sound like an honor in theory but it just leads to the trailer getting overlooked. They used to be the ultimate hype builder about a month prior to release.

Damn that 2k14 takes me back. I remember leaked screens and a commercial and thinking it’s no way it can look good in motion like that and then that trailer came and I never wanted to play a game so bad. It consumed whole days of my life lol best and biggest graphical jump I’ve ever seen from one game to another

So idk if it’s me but when I just fired up the game I got no trailer in the beginning......of course there is server issues so maybe it’s associated with that?
