thank you for that tweet.

I honestly thought I was going crazy being the only person complaining about that.

I hope they can make these changes in a patch tbh.

Never have I ever had complaints about that in 2k before.

Was similar issue last yr smh. And then the silly thing about it is the CPU can get away with all that, but when it's the User, the ball is always properly tangible as it should be so the CPU can create turnovers.

Is this for user or cpu or both?

Maxing body up sensitivity to 100 as opposed to lowering it down, definitely helps with the lack of body-up contact if that was the goal here. It's still not perfect, but there will be way more animations where offensive player is forced to pick up the ball/doesn't just go through the defender.

My impression of body up sensitivity is that it addresses the dribble interaction between offense and defense. I was under the impression that it would not affect the ball security. I don't want there to be alot of bumping and grabbing of the driving player, just that the ball can't ghost through them. That is why I turn down the body up sensitivity, and down the ball security.

Yeah - I used to turn down Body Up Sensitivity to avoid the "stickiness" of the defense. But I think that causes problems you mention.

Now I have Body Up Sensitivity up to 65 and may go higher. There are other ways to avoid the defensive "stickiness" and the higher Body Up slider helps with the offense/defense interaction, player "weight" and might help a little with fouls (though that is another conversation).

Here are related sliders I'm using for now and liking what I see so far -

Ball Security - 15
Body up Sensitivity - 65
On Ball D - 25

Nobody seems to be addressing this, but there is literally little to no driving and kicking to open players. Every drive leads to some foolishly forced layup attempt. This also contributes to absurdly high PIP.
