How to turn off green splash effect?

Timing a shot within the green window won't always generate a green release but a green release is 100% unless blocked,wonky ball/rim collisions etc.

The green splash is just the beginning of this ‘on court command’ next you are gonna have a meter when you pass, theres gonna be a meter when to block, steal, etc. its just gonna get to the point where the game will tell you when and where to steal or whatnot. Its a terrible path 2K is heading.

I'll report back when I see the cpu miss a green light lol...I have never seen them miss it and everytime they hit a green release I find myself yelling, "That's wet, RAIN DROP!!!"

There should be a poll on this thread to show 2K how much of a bonehead decision it was to put the nba jam visuals into a supposedly sim game. Hopefully the numbers will get their attention. What's the point in boxing out for a rebound if I know the shot is going in right after the release?
