Bro... my dad died unexpectedly like Kobe did. That was in 2014.... I'm still struggling to cope with it. Unexpected death of a loved one, especially one of your parents/spouse is the hardest thing to shake. No debate.

Nah, if they straight up threw him on the cover I would see it more as them milking his death for sales, rather than paying tribute to him. They could easily come up with something better, and more subtle, as a memorial to him. zello's idea of putting Chief Keef's "Kobe" in the game is fantastic.
